You can upload photos using the Upload page. Our uploader is HTML5 and doesn’t require any additional plugins. It will support all modern browsers, such as Firefox, Chrome, Safari 6+ or Internet Explorer 9+.
How to upload photos
1. Click the blue Upload button.
2. Browse for photos or drag them onto the page (Photos must be under 50MB each and in JPG or JPEG format. You can upload multiple photos at one time.)
3. Once you have dragged your photos in, you can enter their Discoverability information. Here you can enter Title, EXIF Data, Description, Category, License, Tags, Adult Content and Location for your photo.
4. Now you can choose where you'd like your photo to display under the "Place Photo In" menu. Profile is the default and is publicly visible. Library is a private collection of your photos, if you don't wish to display your photo publicly.
Once complete, click Save & Continue to upload more photos, or Finish Upload.
Licenses
Chose from a list of licenses available, from Creative Commons Attribution to Standard 500px License. For more details on Licenses, please read this article.
Save & Continue / Finish Upload
There are two new buttons. The “Save & Continue” button saves changes while you toggle between your photos, applying edits and changes. The “Finish Upload” button finalizes all changes made and uploads the photos to 500px.
