Site Performance: A Message from 500px

Dear 500px users,

On July 18, 2019 we completed scheduled maintenance work on 500px.com. The purpose of this work is to make the site run more efficiently so we can continue to improve the platform and build new features that will benefit the community.

Due to the scale of this project, 500px.com has experienced several performance issues that our team is still working to resolve. As a result of these issues, we have received a higher than normal number of support tickets and have been unable to answer all of them in a reasonable timeframe. As we continue to work on resolving these issues, we’d like to apologize for both long support wait times and for our website’s performance.

To stay updated on which areas of the site are currently experiencing issues, please review this support article or visit our status page. We update these pages daily with any issues and remove features that have been fixed.

500px is a vibrant community of photographers and we strive to provide you with the best website, features, and service at all times. We are working hard to address all site issues and ensure the site is fully operational as quickly as possible.

- The 500px Team
