Note: On February 8th 2019, our engineering team learned of a potential security issue that affects your user account. We are taking this issue extremely seriously and have taken immediate action to protect your data.
At this time, there is no evidence that any third parties have gained unauthorized access to your account, however, as a precaution, we are in the process of resetting 500px account passwords for all users.
We are in the process of resetting passwords and notifying all users, and thank you for your patience. A system-wide password reset is currently underway for all users, prioritized in order of potential risk. An email notification will include more details.
Please follow the prompts in the email you’ve received to reset your password.
If you have access to your 500px account, and would like to change the password, go to your Settings page to create a new password.
If you do not have access to your 500px account, and need to reset your password, it's easy:
1. Go to 500px.com/recover
2. Enter the email address that is on your 500px account (this is very important!)
3. Wait until you receive our email (don't request a recovery multiple times in a row), click the link in it and create a new password.
If you do not receive your password email notification, be sure to check the spam/junk folders of your email account as your password recovery email can sometimes be sent there by your email provider.
