How to enable Adult Content on your account
By default, adult content will be covered with a warning when viewing 500px. If you'd like to skip this warning and enable the viewing of adult content on your account, go to your Settings and scroll down to the bottom right hand side of the panel to enable the Display Adult Content option, then click Save.
Definition of Adult Content
In order to maintain a safe and inclusive environment for people from all walks of life, we ask that adult content be labeled accurately in order to cater to the preferred experience of our entire community. Adult content includes, but is not necessarily limited to nudity, or partial nudity (both front and back side) with or without sexual implications. Adult Content may also include shocking or disturbing images, such as violence or blood, not typically suitable suitable for viewers under the age of 18. Your avatar or cover photo should also not contain any adult content.
Definition of NSFW (Not Safe For Work) Content
NSFW Content is best defined as any content exhibiting the same parameters as Adult Content, but also includes other genres involving sensitive topics. As the title suggests, any content not suitable for viewing in the workplace should have the Adult Content filter applied.
*Breasts in the context of breast-feeding a child or showing post-mastectomy scarring are not considered adult content.

How does Adult Content affect Pulse?
The Pulse algorithm takes adult content into account to ensure an enjoyable experience for all 500px users. This results in better variety in the Popular and Upcoming sections.
We do not allow visual material containing the description or display of sexual organs or activity on 500px. This may include vaginas, penises or anuses. Excessive gore, violence and any form of illegal activity (depending on the context to which it has been uploaded) is also prohibited. If this type of content is found on your 500px account, it will be removed and you will be warned. Multiple warnings will lead to your account being banned.
