Watermarking is an excellent way to avoid images being copied for mis-use on the internet. At 500px, we strongly suggest adding watermarks to all of your images in your public profile. If you do not have your own watermark, no worries! We've made it very easy for you to apply the 500px watermark upon uploading your images. You can even add the watermark to any images you've already uploaded to your profile.
**Be sure to press "SAVE" on the bottom right hand side of the panel to lock in your settings**
The only time we'll ask you to remove watermarks from your images is when they've been submitted for licensing. This is just to make the images as attractive as possible for our buyers.
